Volunteering Kirklees is running a Volunteers & the Law course on Thursday 27 June, 10am to 4.30pm. The course is aimed at managers, volunteer coordinators, trustees/management committee members and others in voluntary organisations with responsibility for managing volunteers. The course will be delivered by Sandy Adirondack, who has been a freelance trainer and consultant in the voluntary sector since 1980. Places are extremely limited (119kb PDF)

The Fine Project is offering a  NOCN Level 2 accredited course for tutors and trainers to support and encourage delivery of healthy eating and cooking courses. The Plan and Cook for aHealthy Lifestyles course will run twice in Kirklees and is run by NHS Kirklees in conjunction with Kirklees Council. The Huddersfield course starts on Wednesday 10 July and the Batley course starts on Tuesday 24 September (307kb PDF)
